A Season of Giving
TEAM Software celebrates a good year by giving back.
TEAM’s had a pretty darn good year. We named long-time employee Jill Davie as President. We entered into a strategic partnership with Accel-KKR. And, we outlined our plan to define what’s next with the beta launch of our newest software solution, Q by TEAM Software. So, to celebrate our good fortune and good year, we’re celebrating this holiday season by giving back.
TEAM decided in lieu of raffle gifts at our annual holiday party, we’d host a silent auction for employees to bid on a range of items from a coffee-lover’s gift set to a “Day as the CEO.” TEAM raised more than $5,500 and all the proceeds were donated to local nonprofit organizations including Youth Emergency Services (YES), the Micah House, and Open Door Mission / Lydia House. In addition, employees made blessing bags filled with toiletries and snacks and handed them out to those less fortunate living in the Omaha metro.
To honor our customers for their partnership in 2018, and for the last 30 years, we made donations to national nonprofit organizations, Cleaning for a Reason, who provides free house cleaning to women undergoing treatment for any type of cancer, and the Wounded Warrior Project, whose mission is to support veterans and active service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound while serving in the military on or after September 11, 2001.
It’s not every day a software company reaches the 30-year mark, especially in today’s startup-inundated tech landscape. We don’t take our success lightly. And, we know we didn’t create it on our own. It’s due in large part to the powerful relationships we’ve formed with our customers in the janitorial and security industries, and our incredible staff who give their all for our customers and the communities in which we live. So, it’s with deep gratitude that we give you all warmest wishes for a wonderful holiday season.
As we look ahead to what’s next, we stand in gratefulness for your support. Thank you for 30 pretty amazing years. And, here’s to many, many more.
