We Have a Lot to be Thankful For

Reflecting on the best of 2019.

We’re never at a shortage of things to be thankful for here at TEAM. That becomes even more obvious when we take a step back and remember all the great moments from the previous year, and Thanksgiving is the perfect time to do just that. Here’s a look at some of the things from 2019 that we’re thankful for.

Connecting with Our Customers

Keep customers first isn’t just one of our core values at TEAM, it’s our way of life. We’re so thankful for the strong relationships we have with our customers and we love it when we get to interact with them face to face. This year presented ample opportunities to do just that.

In April, we connected with nearly 300 customers at our annual event, TEAM Client Conference. And over the span of 2019, we met with customers at 10 industry events across the country. Our product management, account management and education teams combined for 60 client visits throughout the year. We also kept innovating for our customers to ensure the best experience for them, including new solutions like Concourse and Insights, and building the integration between WinTeam and Lighthouse.

A Thriving — and Growing — Team

We wouldn’t be a 30-year-old software company without the dedication of our wonderful employees. And that now includes 11 employees from Lighthouse, the mobile workforce management company TEAM acquired earlier this year. So far this year, we’ve brought on 24 new hires, promoted 21 employees into new roles and celebrated 13 employee milestone anniversaries — including a 20-, 25- and 30-year anniversary.

We also took the time to recognize six of our rock star employees with the newly introduced Keep. Be. Do. Awards. Nominated by fellow coworkers, these employees embody our core values of keep customers first, be accountable and do more.

The Ability to Give Back

Community involvement has always been part of our culture, and this year we put that into action in new ways. We introduced group Volunteer Time Off (VTO) group outings and have supported three organizations with 49 participants and over 280 hours of volunteering. We packed 4,950 pounds of food at Food Bank for the Heartland, collected 25 bags of trash through Keep Omaha Beautiful, worked on two homes with Habitat for Humanity and impacted 60 lives through our blood drives with the American Red Cross.

The Little Things

Sometimes it’s the small things that make all the difference. This year, we implemented fresh fruit and snacks throughout the office. To balance things out, we also introduced our Lunch and Burn workout program that takes place three times per week featuring various workouts including yoga and pilates, to name a few.

Before the year is over, take a few minutes to reflect on what you’re thankful for this year. And, be sure to stay tuned for what’s next at TEAM Software. As always, we’re excited for what’s ahead and we’re thankful for everyone who’s been with us along the way.
