Maximize Potential, Cultivate and Appreciate, Generate Results

Getting to the heart of our people-centric culture.

At TEAM Software, we’re achievers through and through. We’re a group of go-getters who get stuff done (#GSD). But we also know how important it is to take the time to recognize a job well done and the work our employees put into delivering results for our customers. After all, our formula for happy employees is simple: Hire talented people. Challenge, trust and motivate. Watch them accomplish remarkable things. Reward and recognize a job well done. So, we want to take a minute to look at the ways our TEAM employees are growing and succeeding.

Professional Development

Our employees have many ways to grow in their careers. We offer tuition reimbursement and reimbursement for other learning opportunities like leadership classes. Over the last two quarters, Steph O., Vicky L., and Kiley H. all completed Revela training series, Abby B. finished her Master of Business Administration degree and Bobbi Jo K. attended the Accel-KKR COO & Professional Services Summit.

“The COO & Professional Services summit was a great opportunity to network and collaborate with professional services leaders from several leading software companies,” said Bobbi Jo Kyte, Director of Professional Services at TEAM.

“A key takeaway from one discussion at the Summit was the importance of including internal talent development as a key performance indicator (KPI). Businesses tend to focus on productivity and profitability but understanding the talent and capabilities we have within the organization allows us to identify professional development opportunities that support the growth of our greatest asset, our employees. Helping employees identify their strengths has always been a passion of mine. Finding opportunities for them to leverage their strengths and passion at work and watching them thrive is one of the most satisfying and energizing parts of being in a leadership position.”

Certifications

People across our organization invest time and effort to gain additional qualifications and certifications in their respective fields. These help us stay up-to-date on all things relating to our areas of expertise. Chris L. completed his certification in Azure for administration and development and Brandy H. and Chris J. both received a Champion of Learning Certification from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) as recognition for implementing Employee Learning Week at TEAM.

“TEAM Software has been a proponent for professional development and knowledge sharing ever since I started, so it was easy to take advantage of the opportunity to host events for ATD’s Employee Learning Week,” said Brandy Hoffert, Business Consultant at TEAM. “We championed this effort by collaborating with members from various departments to educate and inform others, all while having a little bit of fun.”

Recognition

We like to get stuff done, and get it done well. So, when we have milestone anniversaries, promotions and other notable recognition, we celebrate those successes. Judi Szatko, our VP of Human Resources, was recently appointed to the Gallagher Client Advisory Council to serve as a thought leader for her peers in the industry. Chris Jones, Learning and Development Manager at TEAM, was selected as a speaker for MadCap MadWorld Conference to present on learning experience design. In addition to those achievements, we’ve had seven employees recently promoted or presented with new opportunities within the company over the last two quarters.

“I love that TEAM is committed to promoting from within,” said Steph Olson, Marketing and Communications Lead. “To me, it shows they value the experience I’ve gained throughout my career here and believe I’m an asset to the success of the company.”

We’ve also celebrated five milestone anniversaries, including Sherri Labedz, one of TEAM’s founders, who recently celebrated 30 years with the company. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the commitment of our dedicated employees, and we’re so thankful for all of the hard work they put in to drive results for our customers every single day.
