Security and Business Continuity Update

TEAM Software is committed to implementing comprehensive measures to enhance reliability and business continuity.
In support of RTO/RPO efforts, we've made several important security enhancements that require your attention and action.
Enhanced Network Security Measures
What Has Changed:
- Added additional IP addresses to whitelist for secure file and SAP BI transmissions
- Secure File Transfer Protocol address (SAP BI, Query Scheduler) : 172.210.164.164
- Parallels (if whitelisting): 172.172.21.212
- Implemented new mail servers to support our security infrastructure
Action Needed:
We recommend you update your SPF records to include our mail servers.
What Are SPF Records?
SPF (Sender Policy Framework) records are a type of DNS record that helps prevent email spoofing. They specify which mail servers are authorized to send email on behalf of your domain, helping to prevent others from sending fraudulent emails that appear to come from your organization.
To Update Your SPF Records:

- Our preferred method is:
- If you already have an existing SPF record, add the following to your existing record:
New File Management Policy
What's Changing:
Beginning May 1, 2025, files saved in our directory will be automatically removed every 30 days
Files Affected:
- Exported reports
- Query scheduler files
Files NOT Affected:
- Employee pictures
- CreaTeam files
- ID badge templates
- BI
Action Needed:
- The best way to avoid loss of files is to save them locally
- Review any automated processes that may be storing files in our directory
- Implement local backup procedures for important files before May 1, 2025
Validation of Our Security Approach
To ensure we are providing you the highest level of security, we have had our approach validated by several third party vendors.
This validation confirms that our security enhancements align with industry best practices and provide effective support for our RTO/RPO objectives.
