Simply Right: The Advantages of Choosing TEAM Software to Manage Employee Insurance Benefits

For over 35 years, Simply Right has been providing cleaning services in commercial and industrial locations across the United States. The industries they serve include janitorial, construction, window, floor and hard surface, luxury carpet and upholstery, power washing, green, housing development and post-construction cleaning services.

“So, just a little bit about Simply Right: we’re a company based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. We’ve been around since 1987, and we have around 900 employees throughout the country. We operate currently in 38 states. Our primary business function: we’re a building service contractor,” said Jake DeBoer, HR Director at Simply Right, who gave the following interview on the advantages of using TEAM Software.

How does TEAM Software help you manage employee insurance benefits? 

“With insurance benefits, TEAM provides a variety of services. The biggest one that they do for us is every month instead of our team having to go in and check in WinTeam and run a couple of different reports to see who’s eligible for benefits, who’s not, when they’re eligible – TEAM actually provides that service for us on the backend. 

So, we put the employees in, as long as the employee is clocking in and out, TEAM provides that service and goes in once a month and instead of our team having to spend hours each month to go through and keep tracking that information, we get a simple report from TEAM that shows us, these are the employees that are eligible for benefits, and we go ahead and process those. So, it saves our team a lot of ours every month.” 

What are the advantages to TEAM Software’s insurance benefits upkeep service? 

“So, one of the biggest advantages that I’ve seen with TEAM managing our benefits is [number] one: it saves our employees time. We were spending probably five to six hours every month having to go in and check and cross-reference to make sure we’re offering the right benefits at the right time. 

Another huge offering that we’ve seen is that we’ve had some issues paying fines because of late offerings or non-offerings, so by having TEAM provide that service for us, we’re ensuring that those are accurately done.” 

What would you say to your peers who are considering TEAM Software?

“I would absolutely recommend TEAM software. I’ve used some different software in the past, we’ve had different payroll systems, payroll providers and by far TEAM has been: 

  1. The easiest to use
  2. The most robust
  3. The most correct of all

We haven’t had any issues with our data. It’s really been the best software that I’ve used – ever.”
